SPG Automobiles, the authorized distributor for Omoda & Jaecoo vehicles in Nepal, has unveiled the upcoming iCaur V23 during a media preview event in Kathmandu, Nepal.
In our market, the iCaur V23 will be available in a rear-wheel-drive (RWD) configuration, powered by a 100 kW (134 hp) electric motor producing 180 Nm of torque.

The V23 is powered by a 59.93 kWh lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery from CATL, which delivers a CLTC-certified range of 401 km on a single charge. The SUV also supports 85 kW DC fast charging, allowing drivers to top up the battery quickly and conveniently for longer journeys.

The iCaur V23 features a retro-meets-modern look with its boxy silhouette, round LED headlights, and clamshell hood. Flared wheel arches, hidden door handles, and aluminium alloy side steps add to its rugged appeal. At the rear, a side-opening tailgate with an external storage box—dubbed a “backpack”—not only reinforces the SUV’s utility but also enhances its distinctive character.

The V23’s cabin adopts a 15.4-inch screen powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 chip. It has two rows of seats with a 2+2 layout. With the second-row seats folded, the trunk capacity of the iCar V23 reaches 744 liters.
The SUV measures 4,220 mm in length, 1,915 mm in width, and 1,845 mm in height, with a 2,735 mm wheelbase. Complementing its proportions are 19-inch wheels, 205 mm of ground clearance, and impressive approach and departure angles of 43° and 41° respectively, making it capable of tackling mild off-road adventures.
The iCaur V23 will be offered in six color options in our market. Although the company hasn't shared any pricing details yet, it is expected to be priced under Rs 47 lakh in our market.
